1. Who we are

The website plemea.com (the “Store”) is operated by Accessoires Indispensables, a sole proprietorship doing business as Plemea (“Plemea”, “we”, “us”). Our full contact details are on our Contact Information page. By using the Store or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service, together with our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy.

2. Language

These terms are available in French and English. The parties have required that this contract and all related documents be drawn up in English. Les parties ont exigé que ce contrat et tous les documents s’y rattachant soient rédigés en anglais. For Quebec consumers, the French version is provided first and prevails.

3. Eligibility

You must be of the age of majority in your province to place an order. We sell to consumers in Canada only.

4. Our products

Plemea glasses are non-prescription eyewear with blue light filtering lenses, designed for comfort during screen use. They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any eye condition or sleep disorder. If you have vision problems, persistent headaches or sleep issues, consult a health professional.

We do our best to show product colors and details accurately. Colors may vary slightly depending on your screen.

5. Prices and payment

•             All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD).

•             Any applicable sales taxes and shipping fees are shown at checkout, before you pay, together with the total price.

•             We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payment is charged when you place your order.

•             If a price displayed on the Store contains an error, we will handle it in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.

6. Multi-pair discounts

Our automatic discounts apply to the whole cart: 2 pairs = 20% off, 3 pairs or more = 30% off. They are applied automatically at checkout, cannot be combined with each other and are shown before you pay. Promotions may change at any time, but a change never affects an order already placed.

7. Orders and confirmation

Before you pay, checkout lets you review your order, correct any errors and accept or cancel it. After you order, we send you a confirmation email containing the details of your purchase: keep it as your copy of the contract. We may refuse or cancel an order in case of suspected fraud or if a product is out of stock; in that case you receive a full refund.

8. Shipping, returns and cancellation

Delivery times, fees and the handling of delayed or lost packages are described in our Shipping Policy. Returns, refunds, exchanges and order cancellation are described in our Refund Policy, including our 30-day money-back guarantee.

9. Warranty

In addition to our 30-day guarantee, you benefit from the legal warranties provided by the consumer protection laws of your province, including the legal warranty of quality under Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits those warranties.

10. Your account and your content

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential. If you post a review, photo or comment, it must be honest and lawful, and you allow us to display it on the Store and in our marketing, with your first name and last initial only.

11. Intellectual property

All content on the Store (texts, images, logos, the Plemea name) belongs to Plemea or its licensors and may not be reused without our written permission.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Plemea is not liable for indirect damages resulting from the use of the Store. This clause does not apply to consumers where the law prohibits it, including in Quebec, and does not limit any right you have under consumer protection law.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the province of QUEBEC and the applicable federal laws of Canada. If you live in another province, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer protection laws of your province, and you may bring any claim before the courts of your place of residence.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one in force on the date of your order.
